I discovered yoga in the early 1990s whilst a student in Edinburgh. I've been practicing regularly ever since and in 2020 I trained as a hatha yoga instructor with Newcastle Yoga School. I am a 200hr accredited yoga teacher registered and insured with Yoga Alliance Professionals. I teach a relaxed style of yoga - this is definitely a no-headstand zone!
Sunday Course: Yoga Basics
5.30 - 6.30pm Starting Sunday 19th Sept for 5 weeks £30 for the course
Are you interested in trying yoga for the first time? Or returning after a break? Or maybe you’ve tried yoga before, but found it hard to follow? This five-week course will focus on building confidence in key yoga poses and sequences, with adaptations to suit your body. We will also explore some different styles of yoga and delve into a little yoga philosophy. Hopefully, by the end of the course you’ll know your downward dog from your cobra, and will feel confident enough to join a regular class.
