Ashtanga Style Yoga with Liz

Liz is a Yoga Alliance SYT and has been teaching yoga for more than 10 years

Class is Monday at 6.30pm and lasts for 70 minutes.

My classes are based on the Ashtanga Primary Sequence, this is a set series of postures and we follow a similar sequence each week so you will soon become familiar with it even if you are new to the practice.  The Primary series is a sequence designed to build strength, stamina and flexibility to the body and to bring focus to the mind.

I like to bring a monthly focus to our practice for example the breath, a certain posture or an anatomical focus such as the hips.

Newcomers are welcome although a basic level of fitness would be required as this style of yoga is active and strong. The class is generally aimed at mixed abilities and modifications are offered to make it accessible to most students, however once a month (usually the first Monday of the month) the class is aimed a intermediate students, so if you are new to the practice please email me first to check the class is suitable.

Class price is £8 drop in and class passes are also available which reduce the price. All details are available on my website lizyoga.co.uk or email liz@lizyoga.co.uk if you have any queries.
