Iyengar yoga

Iyengar yoga was first introduced to the west in the 1950s by BKS Iyengar. Iyengar yoga emphasises correct body alignment in the postures. Regular practice can help to tone muscles, tissues and joints, improve posture, flexibility, breathing and circulation. Also bringing clarity of mind and freedom from stress. Moreover, Iyengar yoga builds up natural immunity to disease and creates a sense of spiritual renewal.

Caroline Hannam

I have been a fully qualified and professional Iyengar Yoga teacher for fourteen years and have taught continuously since qualifying. I am experienced in teaching all class sizes and will always ensure your health and any injuries are taken into account. Both beginners and improvers are welcome to the class. Come and enjoy in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

As well as teaching yoga I am a fully qualified Homeopath and Counsellor. ( M-N-C-H-M since 1993)
