Anna studied to become a Counselling Psychologist and worked in the NHS for 10 years as a Psychologist and Supervisor. 6 of these years were spent working in a pain clinic. Now she works as a teacher, trainer supervisor and Mindfulness Coach. She trained in individual and family therapy and facilitated many training and education sessions in organisations from an occupational health perspective. Health psychology in all its facets and work related problems are particular concerns of her and so are experiences of trauma, depression and anxiety.

Since starting practicing mindfulness in 2010 and later self-compassion she has personally found this very beneficial and nourishing. She therefore passionate about teaching others in these methods so they too can experience its benefits. She delivers 8 week mindfulness and mindful self-compassion courses and is a UK listed mindfulness teacher, this means she works according to the Mindfulness teacher guidelines. As a coach she works integrative, drawing on different models as well as on the understanding and practices of mindfulness & compassion.

Anna used to be a passionate speed skater and therefore has a strong affinity with movement and dance. Soon there will be mindful dancing on a Friday night at the Yoga station.
